Reno court is still conducting evictions, giving tenants more time to respond
Following calls from legal aid services and housing advocates for a moratorium, Reno Justice Court reversed its decision to continue processing evictions through the coronavirus shutdown. Earlier this week, the Nevada Coalition of Legal Service Providers — which includes Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Nevada Legal Services, Southern Nevada Senior Law Program, Volunteer Attorneys of Rural Nevada and Washoe Legal Services — sent a letter to the governor’s office.Reno court is still conducting evictions, giving tenants more time to respond

Legal aid won't halt during COVID-19 outbreak
Legal Aid of Southeastern PA will continue to provide free civil legal aid in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties, officials said. The non-profit legal organization will continue to accept applications through its toll-free telephone Helpline (877-429-5994) and online application portal (www.lasp.org), according to Boehringer.
