MEDIA ADVISORY: LSC Board to Meet Today
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Washington, DC -- Members of the Legal Services Corporation's Board of Directors will meet at the Corporation's Washington offices at 3333 K Street NW on November 30 to consider and act on several issues.
The agenda includes a joint meeting of the Board's Audit and Finance committees, a meeting of the Governance and Performance Review Committee and a meeting of the Search Committee for an interim LSC president. The first meeting will begin at 11 a.m. Portions of the meetings will be closed.

The Corporation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established by Congress in 1974 to promote equal access to justice and to ensure high-quality civil legal services are available to low-income Americans. Corporation grants are distributed to 137 nonprofit legal aid programs with 918 offices across the nation.
