"Martin Lawyer has been a dedicated advocate for the poor and disadvantaged at Bay Area Legal Services since its inception over 50 years ago in 1967. Martin has always been a passionate advocate for the housing needs of eligible clients in Tampa Bay. He has helped literally thousands of clients over the years and has always been a fierce advocate for federally subsidized and private housing rights. Litigation highlights include representation before the United States Supreme Court in a redistricting case and an 11th circuit federal court decision creating a greater standard of proof for Public Housing Authorities in section 8 termination hearings. Marty lives up to his name by truly loving the practice of law and assisting those less fortunate."
