D. NAVIGATING THE HOME SCREEN

The home screen will show several features of users’ individual and organizational profiles, including a summary of tasks for the organization's grants, the workspace of the individual user, the communication feed, and other useful information.

My Workspace

At the bottom of the Home Screen, users will see My Workspace.

The Calendar Tab

Here users can find their calendar of important deadlines and dates. In the future, this calendar icon will show upcoming deadlines from LSC, upcoming grant opportunities, as well as future grant training opportunities.

The Messages Tab

Adjacent to the Calendar tab is the Messages tab. Here grantees will be able to view recent and archival messages. This tab will be a valuable tool to find messages that may have been shared with specific dates or reminders.

The Notes Tab

Users will be able to take notes by selecting the blue plus icon, proceeded by filling out a note, and then selecting save. These notes may be used either to remind themselves or other organizational users of a task or important item.

The Files Tab

The Files tab serves as a space to search for documents. To search for documents, click in the search bar and type a segment of the document's name or the full name if known. If the document appears, users will be able to upload a copy of the document by selecting the orange cloud icon with the arrow. Additionally, users can sort documents by Name, Description, Attached To, Owner, and Last Modified Date. To sort, select the desired sorting category, and files will sort alphabetically or by date.

The Accessibility Button

As a final note, those users who may require accessibility features for the GMS can select the Accessibility button at the bottom of the main screen to find guidance about how to access resources to ensure 508 compliance.
