Legal Services Corporation Awards $4.6 Million in Technology Grants to 29 Legal Aid Organizations
The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) announced today that it is awarding 33 Technology Initiative Grants (TIG) to 29 legal services providers totaling $4,679,135. These organizations will use the funds to leverage technology in delivering high-quality legal assistance to low-income Americans.

Community Legal Services seeks Director of Volunteer Lawyers Program
Community Legal Services (CLS) is a team of highly motivated individuals, who provide legal assistance, advice or representation, self-help materials and legal education so people can know their rights. We focus on helping survivors of domestic violence; assisting victims of consumer fraud and abuse, protecting tenants from unlawful/unfair practices by landlords, foreclosures, legal problems affecting agricultural workers, wage claims and other employment matters, and federal and state programs affecting people's health and economic stability. We are dedicated to addressing economic, racial and other inequities by delivering legal services and education to vulnerable members of the community.

Legal Services Corporation’s ‘By the Numbers’ Report Reflects Ongoing Impact of the Pandemic on Legal Aid
LSC has released “By the Numbers: The Data Underlying Legal Aid Programs.” The new report quantifies the work done by 132 LSC-funded legal aid organizations around the country in 2021. Including both national and state-level data, the report allows for comparisons over time and across different regions.

Legal Services Corporation to Hold Event on Legal Needs of Rural Veterans
LSC is holding a Veterans Day event on Thursday, November 17 from 2:00 - 3.30 p.m. ET. This year, building on the work of LSC’s Rural Justice Task Force and Veterans Task Force, the event will focus on the efforts to address the unmet legal needs of veterans living in rural areas.
