New LSC Brief Examines Impact of Extended-Stay Motels on Housing Insecurity
The LSC Housing Task Force released an issue brief today on the role of extended-stay motels in housing insecurity and instability in the United States. The brief assembles research and legal aid providers’ insights into the reasons many low-income Americans reside in motels long-term and how these businesses often function as landlords without being held to the same legal standards.

LSC Board of Directors Appoints Tom Yatsco to Inspector General
LSC's Board of Directors has named Tom Yatsco as the new Inspector General starting on April 25, 2023. Yatsco comes to LSC from the advisory and consulting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he has served as a Specialist Leader, helping public-sector clients handle monitoring, compliance and internal audit fraud prevention.
